Why Composite Instead of Steel
A composite toe hits the same ASTM impact and compression thresholds as steel while weighing less and conducting far less cold into the toe box on a winter site. Steel is thinner for the same protection, so a steel-toe boot has a slightly slimmer profile. Over a ten-hour shift, the weight saving usually wins.
A Welt You Can Resole
