Agile, Protected, and Dry
The WorkFlex outsole and composite square toe keep the boot light and flexible while protecting your feet, and the sealed SCUBALINER™ membrane keeps them dry.
Nothing Metal in the Boot
Composite toe, composite shank, and no eyelets at all — there is no metal in the boot's structure. On pipeline and energy sites where access points are detector-controlled, that removes a daily nuisance, and it keeps the toe box from going cold in winter.
Why Choose the CA8535?

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there any metal in the boot?
No. The CA8535 uses a non-metallic composite toe and a non-metallic shank, and as a pull-on it has no eyelets or lace hardware.
What does a square toe change about the fit?
It gives your toes room to spread laterally rather than tapering them together. On a pull-on, where you can't adjust the instep with laces, that extra forefoot room does much of the comfort work.
Can it be resoled?
Yes. Welt construction stitches the outsole to the upper rather than bonding it, so a cobbler can replace it when the tread wears down.
Is it insulated?
The CA8535 is uninsulated, which makes it comfortable across three seasons. For cold work, Carolina builds insulated models rated by gram weight.
