What Sells Most

Carolina takes up more of this page than any other brand, and it is the logger line doing most of that work. The Elm, Birch, Spruce, Coppice, and Poplar cover steel toe, composite toe, and soft toe at 8 and 12 inches, waterproof and unlined. Carolina's 28 Series 8-inch and the Well X and Laser wellingtons round out the rest. It is a deep range at a mid-tier price, which is a large part of why it sells.

USA Made Favorites

Several of the strongest sellers here are built domestically. Danner's Bull Run in moc toe wedge, steel toe, and Chelsea; Thorogood's American Heritage 6-inch and 8-inch wedges and the 1957 moc safety toe; and Double H's Jase, Anton, and Brunel western work boots are all USA made and all sit near the top of this list.

The Pattern

The common threads across this page are unglamorous. Waterproofing shows up on most of them. Composite toe outsells steel toe by a wide margin, though both are here. Loggers, wedges, and wellingtons dominate over hikers and athletic styles. Matterhorn's Max logger and the Maximus 2.0 with a met guard and puncture-resistant plate cover the heavier industrial end, and Timberland PRO's Morphix and True Grit bring in the lighter and western sides.
