What does barnyard acid resistant mean?
The leather is treated to resist degradation from manure, urine, fertilizer, and similar caustic chemicals. It is not the same as chemical-resistant footwear for industrial solvents.
Why non-metallic hardware and shank on a farm boot?
Metal corrodes where a boot stays damp, and a barn floor keeps it damp. A composite shank and a lace-free upper leave nothing to rust, and take a little weight off the foot as well.
Is the CA7576 true to size?
Carolina generally runs true to size, order the size you wear in sneakers. On a pull-on there are no laces to take up slack, so width matters more than usual.
Can it be resoled?
Yes. Leather welt construction stitches the outsole to the upper rather than bonding it, so a cobbler can replace the sole when the tread wears down.
