Dry and Comfortable
The sealed SCUBALINER™ membrane keeps feet dry in wet conditions, and the pull-on square-toe design makes for quick on-and-off.
Nothing Metal in the Boot
No toe cap, a composite shank, and no eyelets — there is no metal anywhere in the CA8036. That keeps it light on the foot, and where access points are detector-controlled it clears them cleanly, since Carolina specifies a non-metallic shank on this style.
All-Day Support
A removable Double Tuff PU footbed over an EVA midsole cushions each step, and welt construction lets the boot be resoled rather than replaced.
Why Choose the CA8036?
A waterproof, soft-toe square-toe roper that pairs western style with all-day comfort.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this boot have a safety toe?
No. The CA8036 is a soft (plain) toe boot with no ASTM impact or compression rating, so it won't satisfy a site requirement for protective footwear. For a protective toe, choose the composite-toe CA8536.
Is there any metal in the boot?
No. There's no toe cap, Carolina specifies a non-metallic shank, and as a pull-on it has no eyelets or lace hardware.
What does a square toe change about the fit?
It gives your toes room to spread laterally rather than tapering them together. On a pull-on, where you can't adjust the instep with laces, that extra forefoot room does much of the comfort work.
Can it be resoled?
Yes. Welt construction stitches the outsole to the upper rather than bonding it, so a cobbler can replace it when the tread wears down.
Does the EH rating still apply when the boots are wet?
Treat it as reduced. EH testing is performed under dry conditions; moisture, damp leather, and worn outsoles all degrade insulation. EH footwear is secondary protection — never a substitute for de-energizing a circuit or using primary PPE.
