Carolina builds two 6" waterproof steel-toe Gruntz boots, and the difference is underfoot. The CA3593 is cement-constructed with a heavy-duty outsole: lighter, more flexible from day one, and easier on the wallet. Construction. The CA3593 is cement-built — lighter and more flexible underfoot. The CA3598 is stitched to a welt, so its sole can be replaced by a cobbler. Same height, same toe, same waterproofing.
