Lightweight, Waterproof Protection
The composite toe delivers non-metallic impact and compression protection, the sealed SCUBALINER™ membrane keeps water out, and a breathable mesh lining lets moisture escape from the inside.
No Steel Underfoot
Composite toe, non-metallic shank. Nothing structural in this boot is metal, which keeps it light on the foot all day and cuts the cold transfer you feel through a steel toe on a winter morning.
Why Choose the CA3536?

Frequently Asked Questions
Why choose a composite toe over steel?
Both meet the same ASTM F2413 impact and compression thresholds. Composite transfers far less cold, which matters on a winter jobsite, and it weighs less across a long day. Steel is thinner, so it preserves slightly more toe-box room at the same size.
How long does the waterproofing last?
The SCUBALINER™ is a sealed membrane rather than a surface coating, so it doesn't wash off. Conditioning the leather and keeping the seams clean is what keeps it working over the life of the boot.
Is it insulated, and how do I choose?
The CA3536 is uninsulated, which makes it comfortable across three seasons. For cold, damp work where you keep moving, the CA3535 adds 400g of Thinsulate™; for standing still in hard cold, the 8" CA3538 adds 800g. Insulation ratings assume your own movement supplies part of the heat, so an active job needs less than a stationary one.
Does the EH rating still apply when the boots are wet?
Treat it as reduced. EH testing is performed under dry conditions; moisture, damp leather, and worn outsoles all degrade insulation. EH footwear is secondary protection — never a substitute for de-energizing a circuit or using primary PPE.
