Frequently Asked Questions

Very little. Both are low, laceless pull-ons with elastic side gores. Romeo is the older term, usually for the shortest slip-ons cut at or below the ankle. Chelsea tends to describe a slightly taller version. Georgia uses both names across this collection, so shop by height and toe type rather than the label. What they share is the thing that matters: no laces, quick entry, and a clean profile.
Snugger than you'd size a lace-up, because there are no laces to take up slack. You want firm heel hold with your toes free, and the elastic gores should feel taut rather than loose when the boot is on. A Chelsea that slides on effortlessly on day one will slip at the heel once the elastic relaxes. If you're between sizes, the width is usually the better adjustment than the length.
They can be excellent. A lace-up's most common leak path is the lacing gap under the tongue; a Chelsea has no lacing at all, so with a waterproof membrane there's simply less for water to get through. Most of the Chelseas in this collection are waterproof via the Georgia waterproof system. Check the product title, since a few are built without it.
Yes. While many Chelseas are soft toe for comfort, Georgia builds rated versions across steel, alloy, and carbon toe, including the Eagle One steel toe and the Carbon Flex carbon toe. So you can get laceless convenience and an ASTM-rated toe in the same boot. Toe type is listed in every product title.
Wear them in short stretches before a full shift. Leather Chelseas need time to relax through the instep and around the elastic gores, and the boot will feel tighter over the arch than a lace-up until it does. Thick socks and a few half days do most of the work. If a specific spot is still rubbing after a week, that's a fit issue rather than a break-in issue, so address it early.
Yes. The women's range includes the Giant Revamp waterproof pull-on Chelsea and the Eagle Trail alloy toe Chelsea, both built on a women's last. Available sizes and widths are listed on each product page.
