The upper pairs full-grain leather with Cordura® nylon, creating a durable combination resistant to abrasions, tears, and scuffs. This blend keeps the boot strong without unnecessary weight, maintaining comfort on long treks.
Underfoot, the Vibram® 1276 Sierra outsole provides reliable traction on both wet and dry surfaces. Its rubber compound delivers grip and stability across diverse terrain, from rocky trails to forest floors.
Danner’s legendary stitchdown construction creates a wider platform for increased stability. This handcrafted build not only enhances underfoot support but also allows many stitchdown boots to be recrafted, extending the life of the Sierra boot.
