Lightweight, Waterproof Protection
A carbon composite toe keeps the boot light while protecting your feet, and the sealed SCUBALINER™ membrane keeps them dry. An abrasion-resisting 4x4 TigerTip® toe guard extends the boot's life.
All-Terrain Comfort
A removable Double Tuff PU footbed over an EVA midsole cushions each step, and an alternate lace option is supplied for a customized fit.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is carbon composite different from standard composite?
Both are non-metallic and both meet the same ASTM I/C thresholds. A carbon fiber weave reaches that rating with less material, so the toe cap is lighter and slightly less bulky than a standard composite cap — which is why it shows up on hikers rather than heavy loggers.
What is the 4x4 TigerTip®?
A high-abrasion rubber guard wrapped over the toe. It protects the leather from scuffing rather than your foot from impact — the carbon composite cap underneath does that — and it meaningfully extends the boot's service life.
How long does the waterproofing last?
The SCUBALINER™ is a sealed membrane rather than a surface coating, so it doesn't wash off. Conditioning the leather and keeping the seams clean is what keeps it working over the life of the boot.
Can I put my own orthotics in it?
Yes. The Double Tuff footbed lifts out. The CA5525 is EH rated rather than static-dissipative, so swapping the footbed doesn't put an SD rating at risk.
