What Barnyard Acid Resistance Actually Does
Manure, urine, and fertilizer are chemically aggressive. They attack ordinary leather, and a boot that shrugs off rain will still come apart in a dairy barn or a feedlot. Barnyard-acid-resistant leather is treated to withstand that exposure — which makes the CA7572 a farm and livestock boot as much as a jobsite one.

Is the CA7572 true to size?
Carolina generally runs true to size — order the size you wear in sneakers, unlike Red Wing or Thorogood, which tend to run large. If you're between widths, take the wider one; feet swell over a shift.
What does barnyard acid resistant mean?
The leather is treated to resist degradation from manure, urine, and fertilizer — the chemicals that shorten the life of ordinary work boots in dairy barns, feedlots, and stables. It is not the same as chemical-resistant footwear for industrial solvents.
Can it be resoled?
Yes. Welt construction stitches the outsole to the upper rather than bonding it, so a cobbler can replace the outsole when the tread wears down.
