Value Where It Counts
The Surveyor puts its money into the things that fail first — waterproofing, toe protection, and outsole grip — and keeps the boot light underfoot with a bonded sole.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is 400g of insulation enough for my conditions?
400g suits cold, damp work where you keep moving — roughly the range where a bare boot feels cold but a heavy pac boot would overheat you. If you stand still for long stretches in hard cold, step up to 600g or 800g, since insulation ratings assume your own movement generates part of the heat.
What safety toe does the Surveyor have?
A steel safety toe that meets ASTM F2413 I/C (I-75/C-75) for impact and compression.
How does cement construction affect the boot?
The outsole is bonded directly to the upper rather than stitched through a welt, for a flexible feel from the first day.
Does the EH rating still apply when the boots are wet?
Treat it as reduced. EH testing is conducted under dry conditions; moisture, worn outsoles, and conductive debris all degrade insulation. EH footwear is secondary protection and never replaces de-energizing a circuit or primary PPE.
What widths does the Surveyor come in?
It comes in Medium and Wide, in men's sizes 8 through 14.
Is the Surveyor waterproof?
Yes. Carolina's sealed SCUBALINER™ waterproof lining keeps water out.
