Wolverine Men's Loader 6" Comp Toe Waterproof Carbonmax Work Boot- Trail- W261029 7 / Medium / Brown - Overlook Boots

Preguntas frecuentes

Wolverine's carbon fiber safety toe, and the lightest rated cap the brand builds. It meets the same ASTM F2413 impact and compression standard as steel while cutting weight at the front of the boot, and being non-metallic it does not conduct heat or cold. See our full CarbonMax range.

All four meet the same rating, so choose on weight, temperature and screening rather than strength. Steel is cheapest and thinnest. Alloy is lighter metal but still conducts and triggers detectors. Nano composite and CarbonMax are non-metallic; CarbonMax is the lightest of the four. If you work outdoors in hard cold, go non-metallic.

No. The cap is non-metallic but the shank, any puncture plate, and the eyelets and speed hooks are separate components and can be steel. If you clear detectors at work, verify the whole boot rather than the toe type. See our 100 percent non metallic collection.

I/75 means the toe withstood a 75 foot-pound impact and C/75 means 2,500 pounds of compression. Those are the core safety toe codes. Codes such as EH for electrical hazard and PR for puncture resistance appear only when the boot was built and tested for those hazards. Match them to what your site specifies.

Almost always fit rather than break-in, because the cap is rigid and never softens the way leather does. If your toes touch the cap walking downhill, the boot is too short. If the pain is across the ball of your foot, you need more width. Sizing up in length rarely fixes it and usually adds heel slip.

One of Wolverine's better-known work boot platforms, built around a cushioned midsole system and offered with CarbonMax toes, BOA dial closure, waterproof construction and in 6-inch, 8-inch and Romeo versions. If you see the name across several listings, it is the platform rather than a single boot.

Several I-90 models do. A BOA dial replaces laces with a wire and a ratchet, so you tighten by turning and release in one pull. It gives even pressure across the instep and nothing to snag. The dial is a mechanical part that can fail, though it is generally replaceable. See our BOA work boots range.

Most of the range is offered in EW alongside standard. Width matters more on a rated boot than an unrated one, because the cap cannot stretch at all. If safety boots have pinched across the ball of your foot before, width rather than length is the fix. See our wide fit work boots range.
